Hurricane Super 221W #7cm

The Hurricane Super 221W supports up to around 380 hp. Each turbo comes with a CNC-machined billet compressor wheel designed for motorsport use, giving faster response, more power, and greater durability compared to standard cast compressor wheels. All units are VSR-balanced for improved reliability and longer service life under high boost pressure compared to traditional factory balancing.

This turbo features an integrated wastegate.

VSR balancing vs. standard factory balancing

• Standard factory balancing: The compressor and turbine are balanced separately at low speed (about 5 000–10 000 rpm) with no fine-tuning after assembly.
• VSR balancing: The fully assembled turbo is tested under oil pressure at up to 100 000–250 000 rpm and fine-tuned in real time for perfect balance under real operating conditions.
